The VOSTOK company story dates back to 1942 when one of the watch-making plants in Moscow was evacuated to the small town of Chistopol, located on the Kama River. During the war years, the plant's sole output was defense equipment, but as soon as the war ended, VOSTOK began producing mechanical wrist watches, which have remained the company's primary focus ever since.

Moving on to the product details, the Komandirskie 811171 classic-style watch features a unique design made in Russia. It has a 40mm chrome-coated case and a leather band. The watch is powered by the Russian VOSTOK 2414A mechanical movement, which has 17 ruby jewels and a 36-hour power reserve. It is also anti-shock (shock-resistant) and has a screw-down crown.
The watch is water-resistant to 20m (66ft) or 2 ATM, making it suitable for wear while showering. The beautiful matte white dial features metallic polished luminous hands, luminous markers, and a bi-directional bezel. The stainless steel caseback bears the Russian emblem.
